Find the target
Open Product Hunt and hunt today's and yesterday's launches. Your target: a genuinely useful app (one-sentence explainable), with a terrible or missing demo video, and signs of life (real upvotes, founder active in comments).
Then raid the brand assets: the clean logo (site footer or press page), real product screenshots from every angle, brand colors, and their Product Hunt gallery. These become your @PRODUCT_REFERENCE and @DEMO_REFERENCE uploads — the prompt keeps their real interface pixel-faithful, which is why the result looks agency-made.
The master prompt — copy and paste
Fill only the seven INPUTS lines; the rest is the engine:
THE MASTER PROMPT15 seconds / 5 shots / 9:16 vertical / synchronized native sound.
INPUTS
PRODUCT: [exact product name and category]
AUDIENCE: [who it is for]
CORE PROMISE: [the input, problem, or before-state] becomes [one desired outcome]
DEMO ACTION: [one real input -> product action -> output sequence]
PROOF: [one visible, truthful detail that verifies the outcome]
CTA: [try / download / preorder / buy / book / join / visit]
VOICEOVER: [exact wording, or NONE]
Create one coherent hybrid product demo and premium launch commercial for PRODUCT. It is for AUDIENCE. Sell only the CORE PROMISE. Show the DEMO ACTION as the mechanism and the PROOF as visible verification. The final action is the CTA. The story must remain understandable with sound off and without generated text.
REFERENCE MAP
@PRODUCT_REFERENCE = exact product and brand identity: shape, proportions, material, color, packaging, logo, labels, interface, and distinguishing details.
@DEMO_REFERENCE = exact real use and input-to-output behavior. It controls actions, screens, clicks, controls, and product states.
@RESULT_REFERENCE = exact real outcome or after-state.
@TALENT_REFERENCE = exact person identity, appearance, and clothing.
@STYLE_REFERENCE = lighting, palette, lens, texture, atmosphere, and composition only. Do not import its people, products, logos, text, or story.
@MOTION_REFERENCE = camera movement, transition logic, and editing rhythm only. Do not import its subjects, objects, branding, or location.
When references conflict, PRODUCT_REFERENCE and DEMO_REFERENCE win. Keep every asset in its assigned role.
SHOT 1, 0.0-1.5 SECONDS, OUTCOME HOOK
Begin mid-action on the strongest desired result from @RESULT_REFERENCE. If no result reference exists, begin on the most satisfying truthful action from @DEMO_REFERENCE. The first frame must be immediately clear at thumbnail size. Show the product or its output at once and the product itself by 1.5 seconds. Use one fast, controlled push-in, macro reveal, or action-motivated move. Leave clean upper-frame space for an editor-added hook. No logo intro, setup, establishing shot, or slow reveal.
SHOT 2, 1.5-3.5 SECONDS, PRODUCT AS THE CAUSE
Use a motivated match cut from the result to the exact product in @PRODUCT_REFERENCE. Make it instantly clear that the product causes the opening outcome. Show it naturally in context, not as a generic floating render.
SHOT 3, 3.5-8.5 SECONDS, ONE COMPLETE DEMO
Using @PRODUCT_REFERENCE and @DEMO_REFERENCE, show the one believable input-to-action-to-output sequence defined in DEMO ACTION. Use no more than two connected angles. For software, preserve the supplied interface, cursor or touch behavior, and output exactly. For a physical product, show realistic hand interaction and physical response. For a service, show only the supplied real process or deliverable. Make cause and effect unmistakable by six seconds.
SHOT 4, 8.5-12.0 SECONDS, PROOF AND PAYOFF
Return to @RESULT_REFERENCE and show a stronger payoff, then isolate the one close, verifiable detail defined in PROOF. Keep the exact product visibly responsible. Increase satisfaction or clarity without adding another feature or claim.
SHOT 5, 12.0-15.0 SECONDS, PRODUCT HERO AND CTA SPACE
Resolve on a clean hero composition using the exact product and logo from @PRODUCT_REFERENCE. Use subtle continuing motion, then settle into a sharp final frame held for at least 0.7 seconds. Leave uncluttered negative space for the editor-added CTA.
GLOBAL DIRECTION
Every shot reveals new information. Use one clear primary camera move per shot: a precise push, track, macro insert, or motivated match cut. Keep the product in the central vertical safe area. Maintain one product version, person identity, lighting direction, scale, spatial continuity, and color grade throughout. Reframe landscape references for 9:16 by extending or recomposing the surroundings, never by cropping or distorting the product.
AUDIO
Start with one product-relevant sonic impact. Synchronize tactile sounds, UI clicks, swipes, snaps, movement, room tone, or environmental sound to the visible actions. Use a restrained rising music pulse and clean hits on the reveal and payoff. If VOICEOVER is provided, use exactly those words with no additions. If it is NONE, generate no speech or lyrics.
INVARIANTS
Preserve exact product geometry, material, color, scale, logo orientation, packaging, labels, interface, and person identity in every shot. Use realistic physics, reflections, exposure, hand anatomy, body motion, and object interaction.
Do not invent features, screens, buttons, accessories, states, prices, statistics, reviews, testimonials, awards, results, or claims. If an action or outcome is not evidenced, omit it.
Do not generate captions, subtitles, prices, URLs, CTA copy, new logos, or new interface text. Preserve only text already present in @PRODUCT_REFERENCE and @DEMO_REFERENCE.
One exact product throughout. No morphing or drifting logos, unreadable text, duplicate products, extra objects, deformed hands, flicker, ghosting, jitter, random particles, irrelevant footage, disconnected montage, constant orbiting, aggressive shake, letterboxing, or watermark.
If only product images exist, create a truthful hero launch commercial with controlled parallax, macro detail, lighting changes, and a clean reveal. Do not simulate unsupported functionality or call it a demo.
Priority order: 1) product and interface fidelity, 2) clear cause and effect, 3) believable proof, 4) natural motion and continuity, 5) cinematic polish.
The INVARIANTS block is why founders say yes: no invented features, no fake stats, their real interface preserved. You're selling a better version of the truth — nothing in the film they'd have to walk back.
The close — send the film, not a pitch

THE FOUNDER EMAILSubject: made you a launch video
Hey [FIRST NAME], congrats on the [PRODUCT] launch. I checked it out on Product Hunt and honestly the product deserves a better video than the one on the page.
So I made you one. Here it is: [LINK]
It's a full launch film cut for social. If you want it, it's $1,000 for the final version with your tweaks, and I turn revisions around same day. If not, no stress, and good luck with the launch either way.
- Attach a watermarked or downscaled cut — the gift does the selling; $1,000 buys the clean file plus tweaks.
- They negotiate? $750 floor, or $1,000 with a second platform cut. Never free — the sample already was.
- They ghost? One bump at 24 hours, then next target. Volume is the strategy.
Straight talk: "$1,000 a day" is the top of the funnel working perfectly, not a floor — cold outreach means plenty of nos, and your first sends are practice. The reason this converts at all is that you're the only person in their inbox who already did the work. Send more than you expect to close, and only send films you'd put your own name on.
